Financial StatementsThis page was last modified on 30 April 2012AUDIT OF ACCOUNTS 2011-2012 - NOTICE GIVEN, UNDER REGULATIONS 9, 10, 21, 22 AND 23 OF THE ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2011.The Council's financial statements are an important means by which the Council accounts for its stewardship of public funds. The authority is required to produce a set of Financial Statements for each financial year, which summarise the financial performance of the authority during the proceeding year, together with providing the reader of the accounts with a series of supporting notes to aid understanding and transparency. The draft Financial Statements must be produced by 30 June each year, with the final Financial Statements, having been audited by the authority's appointed auditors, being required to be signed off by 30 September. Historical copies of the Financial Statements for the authority are available to download under the Related Media section of this webpage.
