GR/2009/0736 - 3 Ranelagh Gardens, Northfleet, Kent Additional documents: Decision: Resolved that application GR/2009/0736 be PERMITTED subject to the applicant submitting accurate drawings and reducing the height of the parapet wall. Minutes: Further to the site inspection held on 14 June 2010, the Board considered application GR/2009/0736 for the retention of single storey rear extension to form a kitchen and erection of a front porch.
Resolved that application GR/2009/0736 be PERMITTED subject to the applicant submitting accurate drawings and reducing the height of the parapet wall.

GR/2010/0463 & GR/2010/0464 - A2 Activity Centre, Gravesend, Kent Additional documents:
Decision: Resolved that the Borough Council raised NO OBJECTION to applications GR/2010/463 and GR/2010/0464 subject to a request that various controls are imposed. Minutes: The Board considered (1) application GR/2010/0463 under Regulation 3 for the proposed external lighting of the core activity park, including the tarmac cycle track, BMX race track, multi use games area (MUGA) and skate park and (2) application GR/2010/0464 under Regulation 3 for the clarification of the usage of the Activity Park with particular reference to major events.
Resolved that the Borough Council raised NO OBJECTION to applications GR/2010/0463 & GR/2010/0464 and advises Kent County Council that:-
(1) in respect of the application clarifying the usage of the Activity Park with particular reference to major events the Borough Council requests that an upper limit is placed on the number of major events per year, that monitoring of such events in terms of noise and traffic generation is carried out during at least the first two years following the implementation of such events and the results of that monitoring exercise be made know to the Borough Council and that the major event travel plan and traffic and parking management initiatives are implemented from the outset;
(2) in respect of the application for external lighting of the core activity park the Borough Council would request that the proposed external lighting is properly installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions to ensure that there is no stray light or glare to local residents or road users, that it is designed to ‘best practical means’ standards, that it is thereafter properly maintained at all times, that the need for any additional mitigation by way of planting or mounding is considered and implemented following installation and that the lighting is not subsequently altered or additional lighting installed without prior written permission. |

GR/2010/0335 & GR/2010/0336 - Land rear of Theatre Guild, Vale Road, Northfleet, Kent Additional documents: Decision: Resolved that applications GR/2010/0335 and GR/2010/0336 be PERMITTED. Minutes: The Board considered (1) application GR/2010/0335 for variation of condition 17 of planning permission GR/2009/0661 for erection of two storey building to provide a primary medical care centre with 24 car parking spaces and associated landscaping; to allow the primary care medical centre to be open to patients and public from 08.00 hours until 24.00 hours Monday to Friday and 08.00 hours until 22.00 hours on Saturday and Sunday and (2) application GR/2010/0336 for variation of condition 17 of planning permission GR/2009/0979 for erection of part two storey, part single storey building to provide a primary care centre and pharmacy (Stage 3) with associated car parking and landscaping; to allow the pharmacy to be open to patients and public from 08.00 hours until 24.00 hours Monday to Friday and 08.00 hours until 22.00 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
(1) Resolved that application GR/2010/0335 be PERMITTED subject to the other conditions imposed therein so far as they are still subsisting and capable of taking effect and subject to the following new condition:-
(1) the building hereby permitted shall be open to patients and the public as a primary care medical centre between the hours of 08.00 hours and 24.00 hours on weekdays and 08.00 hours and 22.00 hours on Saturday and Sunday; notwithstanding the above permitted hours, and unless with the prior written permission of the Local Planning Authority having been obtained for alternative arrangements, the use of the building between the hours of 20.00 and 24.00 hours on weekdays and 20.00 and 22.00 hours on Saturdays and Sundays shall be for an out of hours medical service where patients and the public are seen by appointment only.
