Gravesend Borough Market

At the heart of Gravesend Town Centre, close to the main independent and high street retailers and accessible from the town's transport hubs, Gravesend Borough Market is undergoing major refurbishment in 2016. The £1.8 Million makeover, funded by Coastal Communities Funding which is managed by the Big Lottery on behalf of the UK Government, is being led by us.

Works on site are being carried out by contractors Faithdean Plc and will see one of England's oldest charter markets, dating back to 1268, re-open on 3 December.

Newly refurbished, Gravesend Borough Market can revitalise its role as a shopping experience and destination for local people and visitors to the Town and a focus for new start-up enterprises.
