“We are already committed to the town, having invested more than £60 million to date.  With a further investment of £100 million in the Heritage Quarter development, we hope to bring Gravesend's vision for its own regeneration into reality.”

Cllr John Burden, Leader of Gravesham Borough Council, said: “These proposals and the amount of investment mark a real shift in gears for the development of Gravesend’s town centre.  The benefits for the local community will be massive –additional open public space, increase in available parking and more affordable housing – all important issues for the people of Gravesham.  Today marks a crucial opportunity for the local community to have their say on the future of Gravesend town centre and help shape our town’s future. “

In order to plan numbers it would be also be helpful if people could indicate which part of the afternoon they would like to attend (2-3pm, 3-4pm or 4-4:30pm).
