We monitor our department's performance through: - Statutory 'National Indicators' set out by central government (NI's)
- Locally set indicators. These are formally adopted into Gravesham's Corporate Plan. (LPI's)
- From April 2009, we also have 18 Management Indicators (MI's) which report into the departmental Business Plan. We will be reviewing these indicators with tenants in early 2010 as part of our Business Planning preparation.
Particular area of achievement showing improvements year-on-year, exceeding targets are: - Number of households in temporary accommodation (NI 160). Achieved the central government target of halving the use of temporary accommodation 3 years early.
- Rent Arrears collection (old BVPI 66a/LI 1). This is upper quartile.
