The Gr@nd The GR@ND is Graveshams Healthy Living Centre. There are a variety of services which run from the building. There is also a huge amount of work which takes place around the borough, led by the Community Health Networking Team

The GR@ND
The GR@ND has been a feature of Gravesend since it opened its doors in May 2002; it was set up in 2001 through a joint funded initiative that included the Health Action Gravesham regeneration partnership and the New Opportunities Fund (now known as the Big Lottery Fund).

Activity for Older People
The GR@ND is organising activity sessions for older people, especially those living in sheltered accommodation and residential homes.

The Job Club
The Grand and Gravesend Job Centre work together with local agencies to provide you a Job Club. Designed to help you get back into employment.

Communities
The Gr@nd works closely with Gravesham's communities, including working in Gravesham's rural areas, tackling Men's health issues, work with families and BME Communities.

Drugs and Alcohol
The Gr@nd hosts a number of community-based, anti-drug and alcohol initiatives to reduce the harm of drugs and substance misuse. Many of the programmes target the underlying causes of drug abuse and work in partnership to reduce the damage caused by drugs and links with neighbourhood renewal and anti-social behaviour strategies.
