Private Sector Renewal

The Private Sector Renewal Team is based in the Civic Centre, Windmill Street, Gravesend, DA12 1AU

The team provides advice and assistance to all private sector residents in the borough and to landlords of privately rented properties.

We offer the following services;

• We provide financial assistance to owners of properties to carry out repairs and improvements including energy efficiency works
• We provide grant assistance to disabled residents to carry out adaptations to the home they are living in
• We enforce standards in privately rented properties including Houses in Multiple Occupation
• We offer advice about improving energy efficiency to your home , working in partnership with Energy Saving Trust Advice Centre
• We offer advise to landlords including a discussion /information forum run in conjunction with Dartford Borough Council
