Gravesend Towncentric awarded Official Partner Status

Gravesham's tourist information centre was presented with a plaque this afternoon in recognition of its excellent service.

Towncentric, in Gravesend, was officially awarded the prestigious 'Enjoy England Official Partner' status by Teresa O'Kelly from Tourism South East, after meeting all the targets on the programmes tough criteria.

This included providing high quality standards of service and information, and commitment to business planning, and development.

This status recognises the role the council plays as an ambassador for English Tourism.

 The Enjoy England Partner programme will provide the Visitor Centre, which is run by Gravesham Borough Council, with a number of benefits such as national and international marketing, and a new training programme that recognise professional skills and toolkits.
