Second outdoor cinema screening sure to be a winner

Kick off the football season in style and head over to Ebbsfleet United Football Ground to see the great Bobby Moore on screen in the 80s classic 'Escape to Victory'.

The film which starred Bobby Moore, Osvaldo Ardiles, Kazimierz Deyna, Paul Van Himst and Pele as well as numerous Ipswich Town FC players, will be shown at the pitch on Wednesday 4 August. It will be Gravesham's second outdoor cinema screening this summer - the first at Fort Gardens being a sell out.

The film which is about allied prisoners of war who are interned in a German prison camp during World War II, is great for families, friends and football fans alike.

All seating will be based in the stands.

The bar and food stalls will be open. But feel free to bring your own food and drink.

Gates open at 6pm. Film starts at dusk.

Tickets cost £7 adult, £4 child, £20 family (2+2).

Escape to Victory is rated PG.

Please note:

  • In the event of wet weather, the screening will still go ahead. Please remember to bring warm clothing or a blanket as it can get cold when the sun sets. Only in extreame weather will the screening be cancelled.
  • Parking and toilet facilities are available at each venue.
