North West Kent college offers a wide range of courses for all ages and abilities. Their facilities are excellent at both the Gravesend and Dartford sites. With full time, part time and evening classes available the college is populated with students from many backgrounds and learning abilities. The college also has close links with the University of Greenwich.

The PLA has statutory responsibility for the conservation and regulation of navigation of 150 km of the tidal River Thames and owns much of the river bed and foreshore up to the high water mark. As an police officer in Gravesham for the past 17 years he hopes to know some of the issues concerning those who live and work in the borough. He is a Sergeant in the crime reduction department at North Kent Area and is tasked with delivering business plan objectives to the widest possible audience.
Many members of the business community will have been the victims of crime . It is his job to work with those organisations to identify long term solutions to issues which are costing real money to local people.
