Gravesham Borough Council are responsible for enforcing parking restrictions within the town centre and around the borough.

In January 2000, the council took over the responsibility of enforcing the parking restrictions from the Police, however the Police are still responsible for enforcing any vehicle causing an obstruction. Parking and Amenities Service employs Civil Enforcement Officers to enforce the restrictions on street and in council operated car parks within the town centre and rural areas such as Higham, Meopham, Sole Street and Northfleet.

We process all applications for permit and waiver schemes, along with Season Permits for the council operated Car Parks and permits for the Town Centre Employee Schemes.
