2. Charities

If you are a charitable organisation and your property is empty you might not have to pay council tax for up to six months. This is from the date it became unoccupied, provided the property was being used for charity purposes up to that date.

This applies whether the property has furniture or not.

To be able to get this exemption we'll need all the details and the charity registration number.
