Help, Support and Advice
2. Help for the vulnerable
If you are clinically extremely vulnerable you should only go out for medical appointments, exercise or if it is essential. You should not attend work.
Gravesham supporting the vulnerable
We are working with the North West Kent Volunteer Centre and other community partners to get vital supplies and medicines to those who need them most in our community.
If you, or anyone you know is vulnerable or self-isolating and without an immediate support network, you can ask for help. This may include help with your shopping or having a prescription collected.
Support with food, shopping and deliveries
We have prepared some information about getting food during the COVID-19. For further information please see the government’s guidance on accessing food and essential supplies. We've also created a list of local essential businesses within our borough that are accepting orders for food and supplies.
Foodbanks
There are foodbanks in Gravesend who are there should you need to access support, although unable to deliver.
The Gravesend Foodbank is open Tuesday to Friday 10.30am to 12.30pm.
