2. Our permitted developments

Planning permission has been granted for development for the following sites.

Wilberforce Way

Planning Permission was granted in October 2019 for the Council to deliver one 3-bed house on Land to the West of 16-18 Wilberforce Way.

The site is currently unused brownfield land which has been subject to unauthorised fly tipping.

Land to the rear of Barr Road

Planning Permission was granted in October 2019 for the Council to deliver one 1-bed wheelchair accessible and adaptable bungalow on land to the rear of Barr Road.

The site currently consists of an under used Council garage court.

Constable Road

Planning Permission was granted in February 2020 for the Council to deliver 7 x 1 bed bungalows including a wheelchair accessible and adaptable bungalow.

The site currently consists of an underused garage block and part of amenity space adjacent to Constable Road and Rembrandt Drive. The development will include demolition of 6 garages on Rembrandt Drive and erection of a 1 x one bedroom bungalow and erection of a terrace of 6 x one bedroom bungalows along Constable Road with associated off street car parking and improvements to existing children's playground and amenity space adjacent to Constable Road.

Arnold Avenue

Planning Permission was granted in September 2020 for the Council to deliver 1 x 1 bed wheelchair accessible and adaptable bungalow.

The site currently consists of 8 garages, only two of which are in use, with the others being hard to let. The site sits within an existing Council housing scheme and is brown field i.e. previously developed land.
