Public Notice of the application for the Grant of a Premises Licence

Notice is hereby given that Robert Strudwick has applied to Medway  Council for a new premises licence

for the premises situated at Hop and Rye 4 Wainscott Road Rochester Kent ME2 4LB

A register of licensing applications can be inspected at Civic Centre, Windmill Street, Gravesend, Kent DA12 1AU tel. 01474 33 74 34 by appointment with the Licensing Team between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. You can also email us at and request a copy of the register in Excel form.

Any person wishing to submit representations to the application must give notice in writing to Licensing Section, Gravesham Borough Council, Civic Centre, Windmill Street, Gravesend, Kent DA12 1AU, giving in detail the grounds of objection by 13 February 2021

The Council will not entertain representations where the writer requests that his identity remains anonymous. Copies of all representations will be included in the papers presented to the Licensing Panel and will therefore pass into the public domain. Representations must relate to one of the four Licensing Objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. In the case of an application for a provisional statement, please note that representations will be restricted once a statement has been issued.
