The role

We are looking for a proactive and motivated Housing Operations Team Leader to lead our Housing Operations Team and ensure the efficient, tenant-focused delivery of our housing repairs service.

This is a key role, responsible for driving performance, developing staff, and improving systems and processes to ensure tenants receive a high-quality service. The successful candidate will bring strong people skills and a
commitment to continuous improvement.

About you

  • Proven experience of housing operations or repair services within a local authority or housing association, although not essential
  • Strong people skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A track record of improving processes and systems to enhance service delivery
  • A customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering high-quality housing services
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal land written
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of Landlord repair responsibilities
  • Experience of working within a busy front line service
  • Good standard of education e.g GCSE, NVQ 2/3 in Business Administration, Customer Service
