Housing allocation scheme
We are required by law (part 6 of the Housing Act 1996) to publish a Housing Allocation Scheme. This scheme determines the basis for which social housing will be allocated. This applies to both our council-owned and managed housing stock and for registered providers (Housing Associations) where the council has nomination rights.
