Our Resident Building Safety Panel represents all five of our higher‑risk buildings (HRBs): Gravesham Court, Homemead, The Hive, Carl Ekman House and Chantry Court.

The panel plays a vital role in helping us meet the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022. It ensures residents have a strong voice in how building safety decisions are made, supports transparency, and helps us shape how we manage building safety risks across our HRB portfolio.

The panel provides a dedicated space for residents to share their experiences, raise concerns, and help shape how building safety is managed. By working in partnership, we create greater transparency, stronger communication, and a shared commitment to keeping our buildings and everyone who lives in them safe.

About the panel

The Resident Building Safety Panel plays an active role in shaping how building safety is managed across our homes. The panel:

  • Reviews safety information, policies, and building‑specific plans

  • Raises resident concerns and helps prioritise safety improvements

  • Offers feedback on upcoming works, safety communications, and major decisions

  • Works alongside the building safety team to strengthen compliance and transparency

  • Ensures residents’ voices influence how building safety risks are identified, managed, and monitored

Why the Panel Matters

Your home should be a place where you feel safe. By involving residents directly in building safety conversations, we:

  • Build trust between residents and our safety teams

  • Improve communication and reduce uncertainty

  • Create a shared understanding of building risks and responsibilities

  • Make sure decisions are practical, fair, and informed by real experience

We welcome applications from:
