Citizen Access is our Council Tax website where you can create an online Council Tax account, You will be able to:
- view your payment history
- view a breakdown of charges and payments in previous years
- view copies of letters we’ve sent to you
- view copy bills
- switch to paperless billing
- apply for a Single Person Discount
Registering an account
You'll need your Council Tax account number, name and postcode when you create your account.
You must enter your full name exactly as it appears on your council tax bill.
Complete only two identity checks, using details we already have on your account. If you enter different details, they will not work.
Check that your username and password meet the account rules before you submit the form.
Check your balance
You can check your balance in two ways:
New account
If you are setting up your account for the first time, check your junk or spam folder for the activation email.
If you continue to have problems, visit the Citizen Access help and troubleshooting page.
New build home
If you have just moved into a new build home, your property may not yet be banded and you will not be able to register on Citizen Access Online.
