Active Gravesham Plus is designed to offer low‑impact classes and activities for over‑50s to make it accessible across the borough.

Following feedback from previous activities, we have designed a specific programme of activities suited for different strengths and abilities. Including:

Zumba

Feel‑Good Fitness That Feels Like Fun Zumba blends music, rhythm and movement to create an uplifting, energising experience that never feels like exercise.

Tai Chi in the Park (a free 12 week programme)

Experience the calm, balance, and gentle energy of Tai Chi in the beautiful surroundings of Woodlands Park. These free weekly sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities—perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a peaceful way to stay active.

Walking Tennis (a free 12 week programme)

Walking Tennis is a fun, low‑impact version of the sport designed to be accessible to everyone, no matter your age, fitness level, or experience. It keeps all the enjoyment, teamwork, and skill of traditional tennis, but with a few simple tweaks to make the game gentler and more inclusive.

Good Boost (a free 12 week programme)

Discover a fun, gentle, and personalised way to stay active with Good Boost, our water‑based exercise programme designed to help you move more, feel better, and enjoy exercise at your own pace.

Chair Fit (a free 6 week programme)

Looking to improve your strength, balance, and confidence in a friendly, supportive environment? Our ChairFit sessions are perfect for anyone who wants to stay active at their own pace. This gentle, chair‑based exercise class is ideal for older adults, people returning to activity, or anyone who would benefit from low‑impact movement.

Gravesham Active Plus Programme

Date: 25th March 2026 - 31st August 2026 Recurs weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
