Step aboard history this year as the Nao Victoria, a full-size replica of the ship that completed the first circumnavigation of the world, visits Gravesend Town Pier.
The Nao Victoria is a faithful replica of the only ship to return from Ferdinand Magellan’s historic expedition (1519–1522). In 1522, just 18 crew members completed the first journey around the globe after more than three years at sea, proving the true size of the world.
Today, the Nao Victoria sails as a floating museum, bringing this remarkable story to life. Visitors can explore the decks, learn about life at sea in the 16th century, and discover one of the greatest voyages in history.
