A new community lottery is launching in Gravesham to help local good causes raise funds, reach more supporters and continue the work they do across the borough.
The Gravesham Community Lottery will give charities, community groups, clubs, schools, PTAs, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations a new way to raise money online.
Once the lottery launches, local good causes will be able to sign up, promote their own lottery page to supporters and use the funds raised to support their work in Gravesham.
To help organisations find out more, a free launch event will take place at The Woodville on 18 November.
This launch event is for local organisations and good causes who want to understand how the lottery could support their fundraising and how they can get involved.
The event will explain how the lottery works, what support will be available, and how eligible organisations can sign up as a good cause.
It will also be a chance to meet other local organisations, make new connections and find out about wider practical support for Gravesham’s voluntary and community sector.
