About our advice service

Citizens Advice in North & West Kent (also known as CANWK) is the local Citizens Advice in Gravesham. We are independent charity and part of the Citizens Advice network across England and Wales.

We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice on a range of everyday issues to people across North & West Kent. Our specialist advice areas include debt, benefits, housing and immigration advice.

We also provide additional awareness raising and skills development services, including scams awareness, energy advice, digital skills training and money management support.

Our goal is to help everyone find a way forward - whoever they are, whatever problem they face.

How to get advice and support

There are a several ways to access advice in Gravesham:

  1. Call us on our freephone advice line on 0808 278 7810, available Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.
  2. Make a video call by using our Kent Money Advice Hub video kiosk located to the left-hand side of the Gravesham Gateway desk.
  3. If you prefer not to speak with an Adviser straightaway, then access our online self-help advice at any time.

Face-to-face appointments are available only when it is really needed – we are prioritising telephone advice to be able to help as many people as possible through these challenging times.
