2. Apply for a pavement licence

You can use this service to apply for a Pavement Licence.

Before you apply

You will need to:

  1. provide a copy of your public liability insurance for a minimum of £5 million to our Licensing team, If your application is granted
  2. provide a plan or drawing showing the proposed layout
  3. provide proof of permission from adjoining properties, if you propose to extend beyond your frontage
  4. read and agree to the local and national conditions
  5. complete a site notice for display at your premises

After you apply

You must display a site notice on your premises on the same day that you apply. This notice must remain in place for 7 days after the application has been made.
