We are welcoming expression of interests for food and drink concessions within Woodlands Park and St Andrew's Park.
offering space for a food and drink concession, to support use of two of our parks, St Andrew's Gardens and Woodlands Park.
St Andrew's Gardens
The concession would be one of a number of projects aimed at increasing footfall and usage of the area, with recent changes including
- the opening of the Arts Centre by a local brewer as a summer pop-up,
- the opening of Gravesend Town Pier, owned by Thames Clippers and hosting a number of monthly events across the rest of the year
- the relandscaping of the upper St Andrew's Garden area to increase accessibility, usage and views across the river.
Phase II development of the area, which includes the location indicated for this concession, are intended to start in the near year, and create a space that is better designed for events, activities and public enjoyment of the space.
Interested parties should be aware there are additional food and drink offers within the vicinity, including at the St Andrew's Arts Centre, Gravesend Town Pier and at the various pubs and food outlets in adjoining streets including Queen Street and the High Street. Interested parties should therefore research local offers in advance of submitting any expression of interest, to ensure the offer is sustainable and compliments others in the area.
Woodlands Park
Woodlands Park, Gravesend currently has a play area, recently refurbished tennis courts, basketball courts, play areas and toilet facilities.
