Open call for artwork to be exhibited in March as part for International Women’s Day.
St George’s Arts Centre will be hosting a special exhibition from Tuesday 3 March to Sunday 15 March.
This year’s official International Women’s Day theme is “Give to Gain.” Learn more about the global campaign.
Inspired by the IWD campaign, we invite creatives to submit up to three pieces of artwork responding to our theme:
“Celebrating the Positives of Giving, Supporting and Inspiring”
When we give our time, love, skills, support, and encouragement, we create opportunities for connection, growth, and empowerment. This exhibition will shine a light on those moments and the people who inspire them.
Consider exploring questions such as:
- Who or what inspires you?
- What can you give to help others?
- How can we uplift and support one another?
- What helps you thrive?
- What does ‘giving’ or ‘supporting’ mean to you?
- How can we celebrate and encourage others?
- What can you give? Respect, visibility, protection, a voice, opportunity, momentum, role‑modelling?

We welcome work in both 2D and 3D media, including (but not limited to):
