We are looking for new places for businesses to grow
- The council wants to help businesses in the area expand and create more jobs.
- They're looking for land or buildings that could be used for new offices, factories, or other types of businesses.
- They're open to all sorts of ideas, even unusual ones.
What kind of space are we looking for?
- Mostly places for factories and warehouses.
- But also some offices, especially for small businesses.
- The space should be in a good location with access to roads and public transport.
- It should be modern and energy-efficient.
Who should get in touch?
- If you own land or a building that you think could be used for a business, let them know.
- Or if you know of any such places, tell them about it.
- They want to hear from anyone who can help them find the right space for businesses to grow.
What happens next?
- You need to fill out a form with information about the land or building you're suggesting.
- Together with our consultants will review all the suggestions.
- The shortlisted sites will be contacted with next steps to progress.

- Deadline for suggestions: 05 November 2024.
- We will let you know if your suggestion has been chosen.
