Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by the service area or the customer for one of the following reasons: for making and receiving financial payments.
We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios: Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) provides national insurance numbers for universal credit payments.

- The Councils insurer (Zurich) – Exchequer request customer information (claimants name, address and details of the incident for which they are making a claim) from internal departments to pass on to Zurich to assist them with the investigation of claims.

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep personal data mentioned above for 7 years. We will delete any financial information 7 years after the bills have been paid in full but if any debts are outstanding on any accounts, we will keep those records as they may be needed to pursue monies owed. We will dispose your information by archiving the transactions and records from the Civica Financials Live system to a designated folder provided by Civica who will then delete them.
