As part of the small electricals campaign, there are now 18 recycling banks across the borough.

An example of a small electricals recycling bank.

Microwaves, TVs, fridges, freezers and white goods will not fit in the bring-banks and should instead be taken to Pepperhill HWRC for recycling, or some retailers will offer a take-back service when buying new items.

The location of the small electricals recycling points have been planned to make sure they are accessible to as many across the borough.

Small electrical campaign

The small electricals recycling banks will be backed up by a year-long awareness-raising campaign to highlight the growing issue of e-waste and the ways that they can be recycled or re-used.
