Community Right to Bid

The Community Right to Bid gives parish councils and local community groups the opportunity to nominate a local site or building to be included on a register of 'assets of community value'.

We have to assess all nominations received and decide whether the asset suggested for nomination meets the criteria as set out by the Government.

Make your nomination

You can make your nomination online. Please use a separate form for each asset to be nominated and provide us with the information we have asked for so that we can process your nomination. Guidance and Procedure Notes together with a Policy document have been prepared by us about the Right to Bid, setting out how to nominate a local asset and the process we must follow. Please read these documents carefully before making a nomination to avoid submitting an invalid or incomplete nomination.
