About you
We are seeking a proactive, motivated individual to join our Planning Strategy team, contributing directly to the vision, direction and delivery of the new Local Plan, which is currently at Regulation 19 stage.

Skills, qualification or experience required
- Degree in Planning or an equivalent qualification
- Actively working towards Full Chartered Membership of the RTPI or already Chartered for Senior roles
- Experience of contributing to the Plan making process
- Contribute to plans and projects for the district, including conducting surveys, public consultation exercises, collection,
- collation, analysis and presentation of data
- Ensure an up-to-date and robust evidence base to underpin planning policies and strategies
- Contribute to the production of the emerging Local Plan and it's examination
- Sound professional judgement and strong analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- A calm, professional approach to customer service, including contentious situations
