The Role
To be an active member of the theatre’s casual team working in the bar, café and front of house areas as required.
To be flexible in the tasks and duties required, as well as working hours to suit the needs of the business, deliver duties professionally and courteously, increasing the profile of the required sections and providing an excellent service to all customers.
Main responsibilities
- Operating and serving the F&B areas including the Spotlites Café and Kent Room Bar
- Promoting and selling merchandise and confectionery,
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, confident disposition,
- Meet and Greet at front of the venue,
- Assisting within the venue with seating and safety of customers,
- Venue clean up after event.
Essential qualifications/experience-
- Ability to work on own initiative to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
- Working knowledge of IT packages
- English and maths Level 2 essential
- Demonstrated experience within a customer service environment.
Desirable qualifications/experience-
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Customer Care/Service Qualification
- Knowledge of the arts and entertainment industry
