Salary: £28,988 to £38,957 per annum (inclusive of allowances)

Hours: 37 hours per week

The Role

A Neighbourhood Officer will be responsible for managing a patch of properties and dealing with tenancy related matters. Carrying out estate and property inspections to identify and deal with breaches of tenancy, investigating complaints of anti-social behaviour, working in partnership with external agencies to resolve more complex matters and making safeguard referrals for vulnerable adults and children are some of the key components of the role.

Essential qualifications/experience

  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
  • Ability to use computer systems including word processing, spreadsheets and other IT systems
  • Able to compile reports and deal with written correspondence, knowledge of Housing Law and Practice, working knowledge of ASB tools and powers and other relevant legislation
