HMO licence variation

If you are a landlord or manager of a licensed House in Multiple Occupation (HMO), you must notify the council of any significant changes to the property or its management.

A variation allows you to update your existing licence without needing to apply for a brand-new one.

You must apply for a variation if there is a change in any of the following:

  • Licence Holders Address 
  • Management
  • Occupancy Levels

Apply for a variation
