Dangerous dogs
All dogs should be under control at all times anywhere. If a dog has been acting aggressively towards you or your dog you should let us know on telephone 01474 337000 or at animal.control@gravesham.gov.uk. If you can identify where their owner lives we can contact the owner to give advice about their duty to keep their dog under control.
A person who has either been injured by someone else's dog or who has been a witness to an attack should report the details to the police by phoning 101. If the police are unable to do anything they may pass the details to us for information. We will then consider whether any further investigation is required.
