Community Profile - Policies, strategies and open data

The Gravesham Community Profile outlines various conclusions based upon research and analysis of information collected from a wide range of stakeholders including; central and local government, partner organisations and a series of independent studies, including Census data.

The findings from this data help us understand the type and scale of local community need. That knowledge forms part of the evidence base we use to design our Corporate Plan, and associated policies, and enables us to make fully informed decisions when planning effective service interventions. It also helps us in our role of community representatives as we lobby for improved services and resources in the borough.
