The role
If you enjoy working in a fast pace environment working on the front-line then this is your opportunity to join a busy Customer Services Team dealing directly with customers on the phone and face to face to ensure they receive the best service possible across the whole council. You will be on a rota to work on the Meet and Greet Desk and in the telephone contact centre.
Key Responsibilities
Working in the telephone contact centre dealing with a range of enquiries including parking, housing allocations, housing needs, waste management, council tax, benefits and other general enquiries.
Full training will be given to ensure you have experience in a wide range of departmental services
About You
Essential qualifications and experience
- Demonstrable customer service skills on the telephone and face to face
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills both orally and written
- Ability to multi-task and have a flexible attitude
- Team Player
Desirable qualifications and experience
- GCSEs
