Salary: £25,186 - £26,379 per annum (including allowances)
Location: Various locations around the borough
Working Pattern: Full time
Hours: 37 hours per week

The Role

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our Estate Services Team. The team is based at various locations across the Council’s Housing Stock.

You will be reporting to the Estate Services Manager and will be part of our Neighbourhood Services Teams.

Ideally candidates will need to have experience of:

  • Customer facing Facilities Management / Caretaking role previous experience.
  • COSHH and Health and Safety.
  • Compliance related activity – fire alarm testing etc.
  • Garden maintenance
  • Remotely working and being a visible and identifiable representative of the Council on our estates
  • Fully flexible and able to work weekends and bank holidays if needed

About you

Experience in the following areas would be useful, but not essential, as full role specific training will be provided to right applicants.

  • Customer Service
  • Facilities Management and Caretaking
  • COSHH & H&S
  • Being self-motivated and able to prioritise workload.
  • Compliance activities, experience of completing testing of legally required systems and maintain records on our IT systems.
  • Supporting and working alongside contractors
  • Fire safety and fire alarm testing
