The role
We are a local authority who are looking to recruit to an expanding workforce, covering the Gravesham area of around 5,700 properties. We are looking for an electrician who can carry out work to a high standard, which will include all aspects of electrical installation and repairs to both our occupied and unoccupied properties, public buildings, and communal and external areas. We are looking for someone who can carry out the following:
- Electrical installation works to BS7671
- Test and inspect 2391
- Full or part re-wire of properties using various types of cable, PVC and steel trunking and conduits
- Electrical inspections, completing EICRs
- Fault finding
- Installation of smoke and heat alarms
- Reactive repairs
- Out of Hours service (make safes)
Qualifications and experience
Experience:
- Electrical: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
- C&G Level 3 in Electrics or equivalent NVQ (required)
- C&G 2382 Level 3, 18th Edition Electrical Installation (required)
- C&G 2391 Level 3, Test and Inspect or equivalent (required)
