
We have been awarded a sum of money by Electrical Safety First for vulnerable homeowners experiencing a range of electrical issues in their home.
Are you:
- Living with a child under 5 years old
- Living alone or with others and have reached state pension age.
- Living alone or with others and are disabled or chronically ill.
- Living with others who have reached state pension age or are disabled, chronically ill or under 18 years old.
If you are and you own your own home, you may be eligible for funding toward the following for safety reasons:
- Repair/replacement of lighting fittings for electrical safety reasons.
- Repair/replacement of electrically powered showers.
- Repair/replacement of immersion and water heaters.
- Relocation or installation of additional electrical sockets to make them more accessible and reduce incidents of using extension leads.
- Replacement of broken accessories, such as light switches and sockets
- Necessary upgrading of earthing, bonding, RCD protection and consumer units
- Contribution towards the cost of a full or part electrical rewire – up to the maximum grant of £1000 per property.
