Improving Walking & Cycling Routes between Istead Rise and Meopham
Gravesham Borough Council is asking for views from residents, businesses, and visitors on proposals for providing a safer walking and cycling route between Istead Rise and Meopham. This consultation builds upon earlier work undertaken by the Council with Partners such as Kent County Council on a Local Cycling and Walking Improvement Plan (LCWIP).

The consultation runs from 01 October to 18 October 2024.
Call for Employment Sites
Gravesham Borough Council has an open call for employment sites in support of its Local Plan and economic growth plans. The Council is inviting proposals not just from the development community and landowners but also business owners and anyone with innovative or creative suggestions for repurposing existing land, sites, or buildings - with the aim of accommodating businesses or other employment-generating amenities.

New Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) - Design for Gravesham - Design Code (SPD)
The Design for Gravesham – Design Code SPD was approved and adopted on the 28th of May 2024. Prior to adoption, the council consulted on the Draft Design for Gravesham - Design Code between 1st December 2023 and 29th December 2023 in line with our Statement of Community Involvement (2019).
