Cascades Leisure Centre Multi-million pound investment to bring state-of-the-art fitness facilities to Gravesham

A cash injection of more than £2.5 million has been invested into Gravesham's leisure centres in a bid to provide residents with high quality, affordable leisure facilities.

Gravesham is to get its very own taste of London 2012, thanks to the installation of an adiZone - a giant multi-sport outdoor gym venue which aims to inspire the local community to get involved in sport. adiZones are permanent installations measuring 625sq metres and boast sporting facilities inspired by Olympic and Paralympic sports that include a basketball, football and tennis area, a climbing wall, an outdoor gym and an open area to encourage dance, aerobics and gymnastics .

Gravesham LDF - Core Strategy and Development Management Policies

The council has started a six week consultation period for residents, local businesses and stakeholders to have their say in a vital part of future planning for the borough. There is a single cash prize of £250 to encourage people to make comments and there will be a draw once the consultation period has finished.
